Biography
Trevor Zimmerman, Executive Chef and Owner of Deuce Events, discovered his love of fine food early on. While supplementing his aspiring musical career, he began working in local restaurants and catering companies in Washington, D.C. He went on to attend LA Academy de Cuisine where he was mentored by famous White House pastry chef, Roland Mesnier. Discovering and embracing the imaginative quality of fine desserts, he was convinced artistry could be brought to any dish. His first taste for fine dining began while working for Clyde’s, an upscale American restaurant with French influences. Later discovering his love for catering while working with John Cochran at the Catering Company of Washington where they produced everything in house as well as growing the herbs and vegetables they used. In 1995 Trevor moved to California and quickly established himself as a head chef and event manager for several top Los Angeles caterers where he continued to refine his natural talents. These diverse culinary pathways have led Trevor not only to founding Deuce Events but every step along the way contributed to his polish and expertise. Trevor has worked his way up to being one of Hollywood’s most sought-after chefs. Trevor’s delightful presentations combine color with bold, satisfying tastes. A natural host, with a put-you-at-ease personality, Trevor brings to his work a unique, adventurous approach along with a commitment to satisfying foods.
